How do I book a Boudoir Session?
Hopefully you are now well and truly educated on boudoir shoots - and what to expect.
You now know that you ARE the perfect fit for such a shoot
And there are no excuses left as to why you can't do it!
So...
What else is there to know?!
Where will the boudoir shoot take place?
Right now - I use the Photographer Studio - which is situated on the west end of Edmonton.
However - in January - I will have my very own Spruce Grove Studio
Eeeek!! Super excited!
It is on the east side of Spruce Grove (in town) - so only 10-15 minutes away from the studio I currently use.
Easily accessible for the country bumpkins and the city slickers!! ;-)
Both studios are on the second floor (away from prying eyes) - with large windows for beautiful natural light.
And there's plenty of parking.
What are your scheduling hours?
I can schedule shoots on...
Monday to Sunday
10am to 6pm
Depending on availability
How long does a session last?
Hair and makeup usually takes up to an hour and a half.
The Shoot itself will be one hour.
Please also allow for meeting and greeting - and discussing outfits
Three hours tops - should cover your boudoir experience
What is included in the boudoir Package?
We have two common packages - both of which can be costumized to suit your needs.
Both packages include...
Hair and Makeup (and lashes)
one or two hours of shoot time
edited (color and black&white) digital images
What is the cost of the package?
$550 (plus tax) for [ The Pretty Package ]
$950 (plus tax) for [ The Princess Package ]
Can I add more images or products to my package?
Absolutely!
Depending on which package you choose - you will receive 100 or 200 images
If there are any more after that - you are more than welcome to purchase those as well
The 6x6 album is included in the Princess Package - but can be added to any package at anytime.
Prints and canvases can also be added to your package.
Upgrades can be discussed before or after your shoot - and even after you have received your images.
Do you have a payment plan?
A 25% retainer is required to secure the date - and the hair and makeup artist
The remaining balance is required on the day of the shoot
Any upgrades are to be paid upon ordering.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made by cash (in person), email transfer or credit card.
When do I get my photos?
You will receieve your images within 4 weeks of the Shoot date.
They will be hand delivered to you on a USB drive.
Album and print orders can take up to a further 4 weeks.
Arrangements can be made to shorten this timeline - but I would need to know before booking you in - so that I can work it into my schedule.
Will my images be shared online or used in your portfolio?
Boudoir Sessions are 100% private.
Images are only shared with your permission
Everyone featured in my portfolio/blog/advertising gave me written authorisation to do so.
If you do not wish to be featured - you will NOT be featured!
I respect how personal and private a boudoir session is.
If you do want to be featured as one of my beauties - I would love to hear from you.
I love to display 'real women'.
How do I book in for a boudoir shoot?
Easy peasy!
Give me a call... 780-920-0934
or email me... emmawood@prettyasapicture.ca
We choose a date - convenient for us both.
An invoice and agreement will be emailed to you.
Sign the invoice (electronically)
Pay the 25% retainer - by credit card - email transfer - or if you'd prefer cash - we can meet up.
And that's it.
You will receive a couple of emails along the way - to help you prepare for your shoot.
Do you have a refund or reschedule policy?
Once a retainer has been paid - there are no refunds.
However - I will allow a session to be rescheduled if absolutely necessary.
7 days notice will be required for a reschedule.
The rescheduled date should be within 4 weeks of the original date.
Would I be able to meet you first before I commit to booking a session?
Of course!
I actually encourage this - because it gives us the opportunity to get to know each other.
And you get to see where the magic happens!
Alrighty - I think we've covered everything.
But if not - please feel free to ask!
I can be contacted by phone, email or facebook.
