Hello, I’m Emma…a self-taught boudoir photographer, certified make-up artist, soon-to-be-published author, motivational speaker and a two-time award-winning entrepreneur with one mission…to help you find the comfort, courage and confidence to be exactly who you are meant to be.
Welcome to my little corner of the world where I prep you for your boudoir experience, give you journaling tips and introduce you to some of my lovelies who are also working towards living their best life.
My story began in 1983, which means I am knocking on the door of 40. Only in age though. I certainly don’t act it…or look it, hehe!
I’m from West Yorkshire, England, but I live in Alberta, Canada, and have done since 2011. My hubby and I moved here together and have settled in our forever home in the middle of a ten-acre field (which also happens to be the home of my boudoir studio too). We have been together for almost 15 years and married for just over 11 years, and we are proud parents to two adorable and hilarious bunnies who have the run of the house. They fill our life with laughs and our hearts with love, every day.
My passion to help others succeed on their self-love journey comes from my own self-love success. Prioritising myself has changed me. I am happier. I am confident. I see my own beauty. I want that for you too, because it feels fricking amazing!
I wasn’t always a confident woman. In fact, I used to be quite a shy child. I was tormented, ridiculed and made to feel like I wasn’t enough. Sound familiar? I know I’m not alone, but I certainly felt it back then.
All those years ago, I made a promise to always be kind to myself in case others were not…and to always be kind to others. Everyone deserves to feel loved, wanted and special…even the bullies, because they have a story too. Hurt people hurt people…so let’s share the love instead.
When I’m not busy shaking my pom-poms and cheering you on, you can find me reading (romance, mysteries, self-help, business…anything really), journaling (of course), playing the piano (with hubby), singing in ‘Glee Club’, kick-boxing, pole dancing and anything that gets me outside.
Now then…it’s your turn. Please introduce yourself (in comments) and let us know what brings you to my little corner of the world (aka my blog)?!
